1+ year in quality engineering; AS9100 knowledge

Applies quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process
quality for make and/or buy products.
Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.
Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.
Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.
Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability
standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and
correction.
Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards
and specifications.
Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.
This position will support on site at the Courtland facility as a Quality Engineer interacting with Receiving Inspection, Supplier performance, and the production facility in resolving supplier-liable defects. Focus will also be in supplier improvement, process efficiencies, and defect
reduction.
Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

Basic Qualifications
Work Weekend shift Thursday through Sunday
Minimum of 1 year experience in a Quality Engineering position
Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation AS9100
Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
Demonstrates thorough attention to detail
Required to work off shifts, overtime and nonstandard work weeks as needed to meet requirements by program
Must have a DOD Secret Security clearance
Completed a Technical (STEM) 4 yr Degree from an accredited college or university
Desired Skills
Highly Proficient in SAP or other ERP software/database
Supply chain experience
Tableau or Confluence experience
VECAMS/ AF experience
GD&T experience
Experience with inspecting Mechanical/Electrical assemblies (IPC, NASA and or equivalent certification)

Experience With PR/MRB Process (PR/QMRB Certification Preferred)
Experience driving robust Corrective Actions Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA certification preferred)
Experience working independently with customers and suppliers
Experience creating and modifying Receiving Inspection Plans
Green Belt Trained and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Team lead or formal leadership experience
Understands lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environment
Excellent communication skills to engage the team, customers and senior leaders
Resourceful self-starter possessing a learning orientation

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
