Role & seniority: QA Engineer (mid-senior level); 3+ years manual QA experience focused on Web apps; full-time, remote (global).
Stack/tools: Web application QA; Agile development; bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear or similar); browser developer tools; documentation of test cases, regression suites, and release validation.
Develop and execute manual test plans/cases for Speechify Web app; ensure coverage of core flows and edge cases.
Perform cross-browser/device testing; reproduce, document, and communicate defects with clear steps and evidence.
Maintain QA documentation, support triage with Product/Engineering/Support, and participate in Agile ceremonies; execute regression testing and release validation.
3+ years manual QA for Web apps; strong QA fundamentals (test planning, design, regression, exploratory testing, bug reporting).
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and clear written defect reporting.
Experience in Agile environments; cross-functional collaboration; familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira/Linear) and browser dev tools.
Accessibility testing and WCAG familiarity; exposure to text-to-speech/audio products.

Overview Our team is committed to changing the way people read and with our exponential growth, we are looking for a strong QA engineer to help us succeed through testing Web applications. We love a commitment to quality and risk assessment, maintaining documentation, and curiosity of testing trends and industry standards. This is a full-time remote role and can be based anywhere globally. What You’ll Do Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for the Speechify Web app, ensuring strong functional coverage across core user flows and edge cases. Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices to validate new features, bug fixes, and releases. Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects, providing clear steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence. Maintain clear and organized QA documentation, including test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure issues are triaged correctly and prioritized based on user impact. Participate in Agile workflows including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring QA is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. Execute regression testing and release validation to ensure product quality and stability prior to launch.
