Automation Controls Engineer (PLC programming exp. req.) Responsibilities

  • Design and program PLC, HMI, and LabVIEW software for machine control and data acquisition

  • Specify and select components, including PLCs, drives, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networking equipment

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in production and customer startup environments

  • Develop supporting documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and user manuals

  • Provide technical support to field service teams

  • Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve design and assembly issues

  • Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards (NEC, UL, etc.)
