Role & seniority: Technical Test Automation Lead (6+ years in software engineering, test automation, or platform engineering). Hands-on technical leadership driving automation across backend services and Unity frontend clients.
Stack/tools: Backend: Go (Golang) and Elixir; Frontend: Unity-based clients. CI/CD pipelines, automated environment validation. Optional: Kubernetes, Prometheus, Pub/Sub, event-driven architectures. Experience with API/microservice testing and integration/end-to-end test suites.
Define and lead the overall test automation strategy for backend and client systems.
Design and implement integration tests, end-to-end tests, environment/deployment validation tests, and CI/CD-integrated testing.
Establish standards (test coverage, deployment validation), build automated checks for key flows (rewards, transactions, external integrations), mentor automation engineers, and reduce manual testing.
6+ years in software engineering, test automation, or platform engineering.
Strong backend test automation experience for distributed systems.
Proficiency with Go or Elixir (or comparable backend ecosystems).
Experience building integration tests, end-to-end test suites, and CI/CD-based testing.
Understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Ability to collaborate with backend and Unity engineers to improve testability.

We are looking for a Technical Test Automation Lead to raise the standard of testing and release confidence across our engineering organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building automation, defining testing standards, and improving how we ship software across backend services and client applications.
