Role & seniority: Automation Engineer/QA Automation, mid-senior (5–8 years of experience)
Stack/tools: test automation frameworks; functional/regression/performance testing; backend/database programming; Agile delivery; CI/CD; adherence to Wipro standards; documentation and reusable libraries across stacks
Design, program, simulate and test automation for the product/process; develop test plans, cases, scenarios, and execute them
Design and maintain the automation framework, build reusable libraries, track defects, and ensure full coverage of functional/non-functional requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders (customers, PMs, developers, SMEs), define acceptance criteria, support deployments, and document processes per guidelines
5–8 years of relevant experience in automation/testing
Strong ability to understand software requirements and design automated tests
Proficiency in backend/database programming; experience with Agile and continuous deployment practices
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills; effective cross-team communication
Experience implementing/maintaining automation across multiple business lines
Familiarity with industry automation standards and design patterns; performance testing experience
