Primary Responsibilities

Review user stories and acceptance criteria Identify test scenarios and clarify requirements with stakeholders Prepare detailed test plans for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Define scope, objectives, and timelines for testing activities Create manual and automated test cases based on requirements Ensure coverage for edge cases and negative scenarios Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Perform API testing using Postman or RestAssured Conduct UI testing for web applications across browsers and devices Validate data integrity and transformations in SQL/RDBMS Test ETL workflows for accuracy and performance Verify deployments in AWS or Azure environments Validate containerized applications using Docker and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform Execute load and stress tests using JMeter or Gatling Perform vulnerability checks and ensure compliance with security standards Log, track, and manage defects using Rally Collaborate with developers for timely resolution of defects Validate code quality using SonarQube and enforce quality gates Participate in pull request reviews for test coverage Conduct smoke and regression tests during releases Validate production deployments and share test results Maintain test reports and dashboards for visibility Document test cases, defects, and automation scripts Identify gaps in QA processes and propose enhancements Contribute to best practices for automation and testing strategies Work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups Ensure compliance with domain-specific standards such as HIPAA for healthcare projects Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
