Define the quality vision and end-to-end testing approach for the programme; architect test automation strategies

We're seeking a Quality Engineering Lead who wants to define quality strategy for genuinely complex distributed, and regulated systems in an environment that values craft, collaboration, and sustainable practices.
The Role You'll take ownership of quality engineering for part of the core banking platform. These systems process real money, which means absolute correctness isn't an aspiration - it's a requirement.

Your Application Should Demonstrate Proven track record developing and executing comprehensive quality engineering strategies Deep expertise in modern software testing methodologies Hands-on experience architecting test automation frameworks, particularly with Playwright and Karate Strong programming proficiency in at least one language (Java, Python, or TypeScript) Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and cloud platforms Experience leading and mentoring teams of quality engineers and automation specialists Ability to identify and articulate quality risks to senior stakeholders and drive architectural decisions Exceptional collaboration skills with history of partnering with development and architecture teams Experience in Banking and Financial Services domain
