Cover is a fast-growing insurtech startup making insurance accessible, transparent, and easy – for individuals and businesses.

We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role involves building and maintaining automated testing for modern web applications, working closely with developers and product teams, and improving QA processes in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright or Cypress.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and execute test plans, primarily through automated tests, while also performing manual testing when needed to identify bugs and verify fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in QA automation.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes.

Who we're looking for

• 1–3 years of experience in QA automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with either Playwright or Cypress.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Background in manual QA processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
