QA Automation Intern – Summer Internship
Location: US Remote or Hybrid (Jacksonville, FL) Internship Description This internship is designed as a learning-focused, project-based experience for undergraduate students. The QA Automation Intern will work on a defined project centered on automated testing of the Nucleus Security Application. Under close supervision and mentorship, the intern will learn foundational software testing concepts while contributing to a real-world application used by enterprise customers. Internship Experience & Outcomes Throughout the internship, you will work on one or more well-scoped QA automation initiatives under the guidance of a mentor. You will contribute to the automated test suite, improve test reliability and coverage, and gain hands-on experience. At the conclusion of the internship, you will present to the engineering team what you automated, the challenges you addressed, the improvements made to the test suite, and what you learned about quality assurance and automation in a SaaS environment. You will be supervised by a QA Lead or Manager and will receive regular mentorship, structured guidance, and feedback throughout the internship to support learning and skill development. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university program with plans to graduate on or before June 2027 Majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Completion of introductory coursework in programming, information systems, or software engineering Previous internship, co-op, or equivalent experience in QA, Software Engineering or related field.
