We’re seeking an experienced Profesional Manual QA Engineer (5+ years) to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web, mobile, and back-end systems. In this role, you’ll design and execute test cases, validate APIs and data integrity, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software. What You’ll Do
Design and execute manual test plans, test cases, and scenarios for web, mobile, and back-end systems.
Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to uncover functional gaps and edge cases.
Validate API and back-end functionality using Postman or Bruno.
Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform compatibility for consistent user experiences.
Write and execute SQL queries for data integrity verification.
Document bugs with clear steps, logs, and evidence, and follow through on resolution with developers.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX teams to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
Provide structured feedback on usability, performance, and overall product quality.
Requisitos
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of manual QA testing experience with web and back-end systems.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and test design techniques.
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., QMetry, Zephyr, TestRail, JIRA).
Skilled in exploratory testing, usability testing, and risk-based testing approaches.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain issues.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize testing efforts based on release timelines.
Exposure to Prompt Engineering
Applied LLMs in their regular QA workflows and utilize tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor etc.
