Full Description

Duties

You will manage test projects from start to finish, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve all technical and logistical challenges. You will serve as the primary contact for military, government, and community partners to ensure mission alignment and regional coordination. You will analyze customer needs to identify gaps and advise leadership on long-term capability, investment, and workload planning. You will prepare detailed project reports for leadership and maintain all required administrative, technical, and historical documentation. You will develop and review operational plans and safety documentation to ensure all requirements are met. You will evaluate asset performance, authorize the release of mission data, and resolve technical discrepancies after test events. You will act as the lead for ensuring quality assurance and safety compliance for all assigned projects. You will coordinate with safety officials and technical teams to identify and mitigate risks related to project operations. You will ensure all test activities are conducted according to established safety and environmental policies. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) managing the full lifecycle of complex technical or scientific projects, including integrating cost, schedule, and performance objectives. 2) Experience delivering technical briefings to senior leadership and representing an organization in meetings 3) Applying expert knowledge of Test & Evaluation (T&E) principles to plan and direct complex range, field, or maritime operations. 4) Developing and implementing operational safety plans and ensuring compliance with federal, state, or organizational environmental regulations.
