Role Type: Individual Contributor + People Manager Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Lead β Automation to drive end-to-end automation strategy across UI, API, and system integration testing, while leading a team of 5 -6 automation engineers. This role requires a strong hands-on technical leader with proven people management skills, capable of working closely with Product, UX, Development, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced agile environment. The ideal candidate will balance technical depth, leadership, and delivery ownership, while continuously improving quality practices and automation maturity. Key Responsibilities Technical & Automation Leadership Own and drive the UI automation strategy using Playwright or Puppeteer. Design, build, and review scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript / TypeScript. Lead API automation using Rest Assured and/or Karate. Drive System Integration Testing (SIT) by understanding complex integrated systems and deriving robust end-to-end test scenarios. Enable task and test automation using Python/Java scripting. Ensure automation coverage across web and mobile applications, aligned to business and UX workflows. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliability, maintainability, and reporting.
