Role & seniority: Systems Validation Engineer (likely mid-level) for a 6-month on-site contract.
Stack/tools: Windows BSP testing and platform setup; UEFI flashing; KDNET debugging; automation tools; CI/CD pipelines for BSP builds and QA automation; device drivers (SoC, GPU); USB4/DP tunneling; crash dump collection.
Device setup and configuration: flash builds onto boards/OEM devices; configure UEFI, OS images, debugger settings; enable crash dumps; install drivers.
Develop and execute automation and test programs for internal and OEM devices across functional, stress, power, and performance areas.
Triage bugs, collect logs/dumps, coordinate with BSP, OEMQA, and automation teams; prepare test execution reports.
Hands-on Windows BSP testing and platform setup.
UEFI flashing, KDNET debugging, and test automation tooling.
Knowledge of power states, hibernate, modern standby; log analysis and bug triage; OEM device validation; basic CI/CD for BSP builds.
Experience with USB4, DP tunneling, certification readiness tasks.
Familiarity with crash dump workflows and cross-team coordination.

In this role you will be responsible for test and analysis of issues across Internal and OEM configurations. The role ensures CI/CD quality, compliance with OEM requirements, and readiness towards release.
Device Setup & Configuration: Flash builds onto boards and OEM devices; configure UEFI, OS images, and Debugger settings for debugging; enable crash dump collection and install SoC, GPU, and platform drivers. Develop and run automation and test for Internal and OEM devices across different functional, stress, power and performance areas. Exploratory testing to find corner case scenarios, should have expertise in one or multiple subsystems. Triage Internal and OEM bugs, track repro status; collect logs/dumps and assist in debugging. Work closely with BSP, OEMQA, and automation teams for timely validation; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for build readiness and issue resolution. Prepare test execution reports and communicate to execution team
