ECU Platform Integration & Testing involves integrating software modules and hardware components of vehicle control units to ensure seamless operation of features like engine management, braking, and infotainment.

The role includes

• Designing and executing functional, regression, and communication tests using tools like CANoe and HIL simulators.
• Validating real-time data exchange over protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay, identify defects, and support debugging efforts.
• Providing the test cases for all the requirements of the assigned features.
• Thoroughly analyzing ECU software requirements and feature specifications to understand expected behavior and identify critical test scenarios.
• Developing detailed, clear, and comprehensive test cases that cover functional, communication, and integration requirements to ensure all aspects are validated.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to review and refine test cases, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.
• Executing manual and automated tests using tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and HIL simulators to validate ECU performance and communication over protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
• Documenting and report defects or deviations found during testing, working closely with developers to facilitate timely debugging and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Understanding embedded systems, automotive protocols, and test automation to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of vehicle functions.
