Role & seniority: Senior QA Engineer / Automation Engineer (5+ years in Java testing)
Stack/tools: Java; automation frameworks; Selenium; frontend and backend automation; Web Services/API automated testing; REST testing tools; SQL (nice to have); Azure/AWS DevOps pipelines for CI/CD (nice to have)
Design, develop, maintain and extend automation scripts and testing frameworks
Analyze user stories/use cases, define and execute tests at all levels, detect and track defects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test cases, manage client interactions, and apply quality engineering throughout the Agile lifecycle; provide support and documentation
5+ years of Java testing experience
Automation testing experience for both frontend and backend
Strong Selenium knowledge
Experience with Web Services/API automated testing and REST testing tools
Knowledge of TDD/BDD
SQL proficiency
Experience with Azure/AWS DevOps pipelines and CI/CD

Job Description
Analyzing users stories, use cases and requirements
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to define the test cases
Execute all levels of testing
Managing client interaction
Design, develop, maintain and extend automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Provide support and documentation
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working in Java testing
Experience in designing and implementing testing frameworks
Automation testing experience in both frontend and backend
Good knowledge of Selenium is required
Good knowledge of TDD and BDD would be a plus
Experience in Web Services/API automated testing
Experience with REST testing tools
Good knowledge in SQL would be a plus
Knowledge with Azure/AWS DevOps pipelines to set up automated builds and enable CI/CD
