Location & work
Auria is looking to hire a Senior Integration and Test Engineer to support the RMWT GMI program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
Resilient Missile Warning/Missile Track (MWT) program to develop a global missile tracking ground prototyping effort comprised of a MEO Satellite Operations Center (MSOC), backup MSOC (BMSOC), and MEO Ground Entry Points (GEP)s, hereby known as the MEO Epochs Ground (MEG) prototype. The acquisition of the MEG prototype is known as the Resilient MWT Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program. The MEG prototype builds on current development efforts for the MSOC and three MEO GEPs and will expand to include the BMSOC and a fourth and fifth MEO GEPs. The MEG prototype will enable operations and mission data delivery of a global tracking access system to contain raids of advanced hypersonic and ballistic missiles. This system will contain Space Vehicles (SVs) delivered in spirals known as Epochs. Auria's scope is around the constellation mission management capability, which will demonstrate the ability to function within a coordinated Overhead Persistent Infrared (IR) (OPIR) enterprise which receives taskings from the Joint OPIR Planning Center (JOPC), executes the tasking through sensor collections, and delivers missile data back to the enterprise. The system must provide low latency, accurate, and sensitive tracks to the enterprise while responding in near-real time to prioritized collection taskings.
Design, develop, and implement manual and automated software unit and system-level tests in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Test (CI/CD) environment. Determine the verification approach for system requirements and isolate software and system-level defects. Conduct and participate in formal test events at customer sites with government stakeholders to validate system capabilities. Collaborate with engineers and technical leadership as a key member of an Agile Scrum team. Work closely with other team members to build, configure, and troubleshoot the system. Develop and execute Integration and Test (I&T) plans, procedures, and reports. Generate and maintain system documentation, including configuration baselines, rack diagrams, and test records. Support system-level reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR) and readiness assessments. Contribute to verification matrices, risk registers, and test reports for customer delivery.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world. Hands-on experience testing new software releases, verifying system functionality, and documenting test outcomes. Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation, and test reporting. Familiarity with the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission and/or satellite ground systems. Proven ability to isolate and resolve system-level issues, provide design feedback, and implement corrective actions across interdependent components. Demonstrated ability to train personnel on relevant applications, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness. Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple test and demonstration events. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive team approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Knowledge base of I&T on space systems, operational systems, and/or live, virtual, and constructive environments (LVC). Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable. Experience working in a DevOps environment, especially involving GitLab CI/CD, building and testing Docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues. 2+ years experience modeling, integrating, and testing DOD space systems and subsystems, including systems, products, and interfaces across ground and space components. Experience in automated web UI and API testing, with experience using frameworks or tools to validate end-to-end system behavior and data flows. Experience with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration, test planning, test development, and test execution. Experience with automated test and data-driven development concepts, tools, and languages. Experience with Agile development and digital engineering / MBSE approaches.
