Project Role: Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead) Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : Automated Testing Good to have skills : Java, Selenium Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while also developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies that align with business objectives. You will focus on applying your expertise in quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall testing process, ensuring that all aspects of the application lifecycle are addressed effectively and efficiently. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SDET resource. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and mentorship for junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure optimal performance and quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing, Java, Selenium. - Strong in Java programming and hands-on experience on Java 8 and above features - Strong REST API automation experience with REST Assured or others - Good Experience with SQL, NoSQL and Database automation with Java - Good Experience with UNIX - Experience in Selenium UI automation - Working experience with CUCUMBER, TestNG and other automation framework design - Full understanding of SDLC, Test and Defect Lifecycle - Working experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Centre) - Supports achieving CI / CD goals where automation can be integrated with build pipeline(s) - Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing. - Experience in developing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks. - Proficient in using test management tools to track and report on testing progress and results.
