Join our dynamic team as a Supplier Quality Engineer and be at the forefront of driving excellence in our supplier network! We're looking for a detail-oriented quality champion who's passionate about maintaining the highest standards across our supply chain.
What will you do
· Support new product introductions, supplier development activities related to manufactured components.
· Lead internal/external customer complaints with problem solving methodologies as 8D, A3, Lean Six Sigma Projects.
· Drive process robustness through PFMEA, process control plans and poka yoke/jidoka solutions.
· Monitor supplier quality performance at the plant level and report it.
· Lead suppliers process audits.
· Deploy projects to increase productivity and process improvements and utilize digital technology with our contract manufacturers.
· Pilot the qualification of the products (finished goods) through PPAP process.
This job might be for you if
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial).
· 1 + years’ experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
· Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization [5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.]
· Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired.
· Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management.
· Strong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up, and execution skills.
