Key Responsibilities: As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your day-to-day activities will include performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategies, developing automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration. You will participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems. Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development process. Validate data accuracy and consistency through database checks and manual batch testing. Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation using Parasoft SOA Test. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand both functional and technical aspects of the services being tested. Utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end testing activities as required. Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering to continuously enhance testing processes. Advanced proficiency in Test Execution and Management is required. Advanced proficiency in System Defect Management is recommended. Additionally, advanced proficiency in System Integration Testing and Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation is suggested. Onsite client work required 3 days a week in: Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA, Plano TX, Addison TX, or Dallas TX Client Mandated Time Away: 5 days per quarter Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in QA / Automation Testing 4+ years of hands-on Selenium Automation (expert level) 3+ years of API Testing experience (REST/Soap tools) Experience in Test Management & Defect Tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM) Strong experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) & regression testing Understanding of CI/CD and continuous testing practices Experience in Payments Domain High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 5 years of End-to-End Testing experience Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
