Opportunity Overview

We are recruiting for a Test Technician within our New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team), Teradyne Memory Business Unit to join our team in San Jose, CA.  This role is on site in our San Jose, CA office 5x week.

Responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on products (Tester and PCBA) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

Conduct Testing: Test technicians perform various tests to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and durability of Nextest products. This can include stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks.

Document Results: After conducting tests, recording and interpreting the results, providing detailed data to engineers and stakeholders to inform product development and improvements.

Maintain Equipment: Test technicians are responsible for the upkeep of testing equipment, including regular cleaning, calibration, debug and repairs to ensure accurate testing results.

Able to troubleshoot Equipment Tools (Oscilloscope, Meter). Able to identify product and equipment failures. Basic understanding to use measure test equipment (Meter, Scope, etc.). General knowledge of the company products and operating principles is a plus The ability to be on site 5x days a week, between 7am-5pm Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PDF, etc.) 2+ years of related experience is desired. Ability of lift up to 50 pounds Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email). Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to work overtime.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $58,600 - $93,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
