What To Expect Tesla Test & Automation Team is looking for an amazing Firmware Validation and Flashing Engineer to develop flashing fixtures and automation software to validate and flash firmware onto all of Tesla’s PCBAs. We are looking for someone who is excited about building great software, has solid electrical fundamentals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and appreciates the importance of accuracy and on-time delivery.
The Test and Automation Team works closely with Design Engineering, Firmware, Validation, and Product Security teams to define/specify firmware flashing fixtures, and drive validation and release processes for Tesla’s electronic control units (ECU)/ PCBAs. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with excellent attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
