Project Engineer: Automation / Control Systems
Overview: 4Sight Asset Automation is mainly responsible for the Asset Automation portion of our Business and therefore is mainly doing Industrial System Integration. We have strong partnerships with the main OEM’s like Siemens, AVEVA, Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation, Adroit and Mitsubishi. Our Project Engineers must obtain and maintain a high level of technical skills and competence and obtain Certification on above mentioned OEM’s. Our Project engineers will be responsible for the day-to-day technical scope and deliverables on one of many projects depending on the workload, schedule, and complexity.
Project Responsibilities
a. Understand project scope and deliverables.
b. Assist in initial project planning to develop required tasks and estimate effort requirements for those tasks.
c. Responsible for implementation of solutions for the project/s
d. Responsible for timely and accurate development of drawings and documentation on assigned projects.
e. Awareness and compliance with project quality procedures (QA)
f. Manage individual priorities, deliverables, and utilization (time management)
g. Onsite project and commissioning work as required.
h. Inform Project Manager of all variations and risks in a timely manner.
Other responsibilities includes Health & Safety Management, Technical Responsibilities, Client Relationship Management, etc. The position will be discussed in detail during an interview.
