We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join one of our challenging international projects within the insurance sector, in a hybrid work model in Lisbon. Are you the one?

What you’ll be doing

• Mission
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions. Contribute to continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines and support the delivery of high-quality software in an Agile environment.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
• Execute automated functional, regression, and performance tests
• Analyze test results, report defects, and support resolution with development teams
• Define and maintain test strategies, test plans, and automation scope
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Technical Skills (Mandatory)
• Strong experience in test automation (minimum 3 years)
• Java proficiency with solid object-oriented programming skills

UI automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright

API testing: Postman, Rest-Assured BDD methodologies with hands-on experience using Cucumber Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI or similar) Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Technical Skills (Nice to Have) Performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) Experience with enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems Exposure to data-driven or analytics platforms Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and quality mindset Good communication skills (written and verbal) Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable Agile mindset Language

English: B2 or higher
