Role & seniority: Software Engineer (mid-level) on Automated Test & Verification for the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) product team
Stack/tools: Python; CI/CD workflows; Jenkins; Elasticsearch; SDLC components (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment)
Support fast-paced software development with CI/CD tasks and automated test/verification activities
Develop and validate test automation and related tooling within the GMD Weapon System context
Collaborate to understand and verify requirements and ensure compliant in-office development
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) and minimum 2 years experience
Proficiency in Python
Ability to understand/verify requirements and support in-office development
Active U.S. DoD security clearance at SECRET level
Experience with test automation specifically
Experience with Jenkins and Elasticsearch
Knowledge of SDLC and security-related certifications (Security+)
Basic Qualifications

The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
The Work
The selected engineer will support a fast-pace, forward looking Software Development environment on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) product team's Automated Test and Verification team, with tasking directed at Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD).
