GDS Consulting _AIA Staff AI & Automation Engineer The Junior AI & Automation Engineer will support the design, development, and maintenance of automation, dashboards, and basic AI-enabled solutions. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to learn automation technologies and help improve business processes through technology under guidance from senior team members.

Role Description: •    Automation Support and Delivery: Assist in building and maintaining automation solutions for internal and external clients to help reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.•    Development and Tools: Develop and enhance automations using RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate Desktop, and Co-Pilot Studio), basic Python scripts, API connections, and document processing tools with guidance from senior engineers.•    Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with managers, senior engineers, and business users to understand requirements and contribute to automation and AI initiatives.•    Documentation and Quality: Follow established standards for documentation, testing, version control, and deployment of automation solutions.•    Knowledge Sharing: Participate in training sessions and gradually support knowledge sharing on automation tools and responsible use of AI solutions.

Requirements and Skills: •    AI and Automation Tools: Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to at least one RPA platform (UiPath, Blue Prism, or Power Automate Desktop) and interest in AI/LLM tools for automation and document processing.•    Systems and Integrations: Understanding of integrating applications or systems (ERP exposure is a plus but not required).•    Python Fundamentals: Basic to intermediate Python skills for scripting, simple automation, or data processing.•    Power Platform Exposure: Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps; experience through projects, internships, or training is acceptable.•    Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical work clearly and collaborate effectively within a team.
