Founded in 2019, Swift supports Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community customers across the country and around the globe. The Swift Group is looking for an experienced Automated Test Engineer to join a dynamic modernization program in Sterling, VA involving direct support to the mission; collaboration with application development, full stack software engineering, tier 3 and 4 teams; and the update of all applications and tech stacks.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate complex software systems supporting Intelligence Community mission requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression strategies to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Evaluate software, hardware, interfaces, and associated documentation to ensure system performance, reliability, and security requirements are met.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and formal test readiness reviews throughout the system development life cycle (SDLC), providing actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar).
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or similar DevOps platforms.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience supporting automated testing in iterative development environments.
- Experience testing APIs, microservices, web applications, and/or containerized applications deployed in cloud or hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, ALM, Azure DevOps) and experience supporting formal verification and validation processes.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, secure coding/testing practices, and documentation standards in regulated or classified environments.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
