MSCI Careers | Life at MSCI Your Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of GenAI systems. Collaborate across engineering, product, domain experts, and senior leadership to identify and solve high-impact problems with AI. Architect clean, maintainable, and efficient ML and data pipelines using modern frameworks and cloud services. Develop and deploy AI models into production environments, ensuring resilience, scalability, and low latency. Stay ahead of the curve in GenAI advancements and infuse them into real-world use cases. Champion best practices in model training, evaluation, interpretability, and governance. Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering innovation and excellence. Proven expertise in building and deploying AI/ML systems at scale (batch or real-time). We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Your skills and experience that will help you excel Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline. 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Test Engineering. Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python. Proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of software testing solutions. Hands-on experience with test automation. Experience with scripting or coding and working knowledge of SQL. Experience working with global, distributed teams. Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal supervision, training, or hand-holding. Prior testing experience with financial or enterprise-grade software. Hands-on experience with API and UI testing, both manual and automated. Working knowledge of software engineering and DevOps tools such as JIRA, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Eclipse IDE, Git, and API testing tools like SOAP UI or Postman (or similar tools). Practical experience with GenAI techniques including LLMs, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, etc. Ability to write, debug, and maintain automated test scripts in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#, with a strong understanding of coding principles such as the Page Object Model. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Proficiency with Playwright for both UI and API test automation.
