Role & seniority: Penetration Tester (open to varying levels of experience); IT Security team member at GN.
Stack/tools: Windows/Linux familiarity; web app and API security testing; source-code security assessment (C#, C, C++, TypeScript); knowledge of penetration testing methodologies; Azure Cloud, Active Directory/Entra ID; hardware/IoT, mobile security and reverse engineering (nice-to-have).
Plan and execute attack simulation engagements against GN applications and products.
Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and provide mitigation recommendations to stakeholders.
Share knowledge within the testing team and educate developers on secure coding practices.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; experience in testing complex applications (pentester or bug bounty).
Solid understanding of Windows and Linux; proven penetration testing methodologies.
Ability to communicate security findings effectively (verbal and written); web/API security testing; source-code security assessments in listed languages.
Hardware/IoT device security testing; reverse engineering (Linux/Windows); mobile app security (iOS/Android).
Active Directory/Entra ID security assessments; Azure Cloud security assessments.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will: Assist in planning and executing attack simulation engagements against our applications and products. Identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. We are open to your background and level of experience, where we imagine that the following will facilitate your ability to thrive in your new role: Have a higher background within Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in testing complex applications, either from a prior position as a penetration tester or bug bounty. A solid understanding of Windows and Linux. Proven ability with penetration testing methodologies. Ability to effectively communicate security findings to relevant stakeholders and explain their impact both verbally and in writing. Experience in web application and API security testing. Ability to conduct source code security assessments for C#, C, C++, and TypeScript (it is not a requirement to have coding abilities with all these languages).
