We are looking for two Penetration Testers to join our IT Security team at GN where you will play a crucial role in planning and executing attack simulation engagements, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies. Your efforts will help us bring people closer through secure technology. The team you will be part of At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of the IT Security team and report to the Head of IT Security. We work closely with other IT teams, our CISO, and key stakeholders across GN, cultivating an informal yet global work environment. As part of IT Security & Network, we develop, support, and maintain core security technologies and processes, that serve as the foundation for IT security across GN. Our approach is built on a zero-trust model, leveraging innovative security solutions and partnerships with reputed vendors. Your contribution is appreciated, and you will: Assist in planning and executing attack simulation engagements against our applications and products. Identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. Recommend mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities to relevant stakeholders. Share knowledge within the testing team and possibly educate our developers on secure coding practices. We are open to your background and level of experience, where we imagine that the following will facilitate your ability to thrive in your new role: Have a higher background within Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in testing complex applications, either from a prior position as a penetration tester or bug bounty. A solid understanding of Windows and Linux. Proven ability with penetration testing methodologies. Ability to effectively communicate security findings to relevant stakeholders and explain their impact both verbally and in writing. Experience in web application and API security testing. Ability to conduct source code security assessments for C#, C, C++, and TypeScript (it is not a requirement to have coding abilities with all these languages). Candidates with these additional skills are encouraged to apply: Hardware and IoT device security testing. Reverse engineering of Linux and Windows binaries. Mobile application security testing (iOS and Android). Active Directory and Entra ID security assessments. Azure Cloud security assessments.
