Job Summary: Supermicro Computer is currently looking for talented System Validation Engineer to partner with Hardware Designing team to validate in-house servers and workstation platforms, troubleshoot and detect any problem of current validation project. The candidate will be responsible to provide technical specifications, build testing configurations to verify systems' stability and reliability. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with both internal engineering and product team on various projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Perform motherboard and server system application validation testing• Conduct functional and compatibility testing on various operating systems such as Linux and Windows• Perform motherboard and hardware functional validation testing• Perform server configuration and system performance testing• Report hardware and software quality assurance issues into bug tracking systems• Duplicate customers motherboard issue if needed• Work with customers and product management to understand production use of the product and understand advanced functionality requirements
• Must be able to multi-task and meet demanding target datesQualifications: • Bachelor or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE or relevant degree and experience.
Familiar with server and computer architecture
Basic knowledge of networking/TCPIP and Linux operation system
Strong communication skill in both written and verbal
