Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in mobile test automation for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python, Appium, and Robot Framework, along with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and CI/CD practices. This role requires strong analytical skills, automation framework development experience, and the ability to work in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications. Build and enhance automation frameworks using Python, Appium, and Robot Framework. Execute functional, regression, integration, and API test cases. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins). Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high product quality. Maintain version control of automation scripts using Git. Identify test process gaps and propose automation improvements. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Leverage AI tools, LLMs, or AI-based IDEs (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve test automation efficiency (Good to have). Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured (Nice to have). Support performance testing activities using tools such as JMeter (Nice to have).
Required Skills
5–7 years of experience in mobile test automation. Strong proficiency in Python programming. Extensive hands-on experience with Appium for Android and iOS automation. Solid experience with Robot Framework for mobile automation. Experience with automation testing frameworks (Selenium/Appium). Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with Git for version control. Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
