Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated QA Engineers / SDETs with strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and JavaScript/TypeScript for Web UI Automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and maintaining automation test suites, with exposure to API testing and CI/CD integration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure application functionality and reliability. Perform manual and automation testing across functional, regression, integration, and UAT cycles. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to analyze requirements and validate functionality. Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and report defects with clarity. Continuously improve automation test coverage and enhance testing strategies. Optionally contribute to API test automation using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and ensure timely feedback on code quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
35 years of hands-on experience in Web UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong understanding of automation frameworks and design patterns. Experience with testing tools/frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha/Jest. Familiarity with browser automation best practices, web technologies, and debugging techniques. Good understanding of version control tools like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good To Have
Experience in API test automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools. Knowledge of RESTful services, HTTP protocols, JSON, XML, and API testing principles. Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Experience with API mocking or virtualization tools.
