We're partnering with an established Manufacturing business in Orlando FL to hire a Senior Control Engineer to deliver automation projects in Orlando FL. This role offers hands-on technical ownership, exposure to modern automation platforms, and the opportunity to work on complex industrial systems from design through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities Lead Rockwell PLC development for industrial automation projects Design, program, test and commission control systems for custom automation equipment Work with platforms including Allen Bradley, PlantPAX, Ignition, Wonderware, Fanuc robotics Support projects across the Energy, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors Collaborate directly with Internal Manufacturing, R&D, Automation teams and external customers Participate in on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and system optimization Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when required
Requirements 5+ years of experience in Automation & Controls Engineering 5+ years of hands on Allen Bradley PLC Programming experience Ideally prior experience supporting Robotics systems including - Vision Systems, FANUC or KUKA robotics systems Experience designing and commissioning PLC Systems & Equipment Background supporting industrial automation equipment and machinery Industry experience in Energy, Power, or Renewable Energy Ability to work on-site in Orlando FL area and travel locally as projects require
