Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Tester to lead and execute end-to-end testing for mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on testing expertise, defect management skills, and experience working in agile environments.
Roles & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain mobile testing strategies and test plans Design and execute mobile-specific test cases based on business and technical requirements Perform compatibility testing across devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and resolutions Conduct SIT, Regression, Integration, System Testing, and UAT for mobile applications Execute cross-platform testing to ensure consistency across Android and iOS Identify, log, track, and manage defects with proper priority and severity Lead Defect Management activities for mobile applications Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, SIT & UAT teams Support Business Users and Operations teams during UAT Prepare and share test metrics, reports, and dashboards Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) Mentor junior QA members and promote mobile testing best practices Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies Manage testing schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication
Mandatory Skills Strong experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS) Expertise in Manual Testing for mobile platforms Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum Experience with Device Compatibility & OS Version Testing Hands-on experience with Defect Tracking Tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.) Strong knowledge of UAT, SIT, Regression & Integration Testing Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience in mentoring or leading QA activities
