Role & seniority: Automation Engineer – Telco / ISP Networking (mid–senior, 4+ years in automation, testing, or network engineering)
Stack / tools: Linux, BGP/OSPF, Layer 3–7 networking, Internet-facing carrier-scale routing, multi-region PoP, routing policies, traffic engineering; Java; virtualization/cloud (ESX, AWS, Azure); logs/metrics/packet captures (Wireshark advantageous)
Design, implement, and maintain automated system and integration tests for carrier-grade networking scenarios
Validate Internet BGP architectures, multi-region routing, PoP connectivity; model/test complex routing policies and failover
Build automation for customer integration flows (peering, routing validation, traffic verification); develop automation infrastructure and tools; reproduce/validate field issues with cross-team collaboration
Strong Telco/ISP networking background; proven ability with Internet BGP architectures (global/multi-region)
Deep knowledge of BGP, routing policies, traffic engineering, PoP connectivity; hands-on routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) in complex environments
Linux proficiency; solid OOD/OOP coding skills (Java preferred); experience with virtualization/cloud (ESX, AWS, Azure)
Ability to debug complex networking issues via logs/metrics/packet captures
Effective communication and cross-team collaboration
Experience with customer/partner network integrations

We are looking for an Automation Engineer – Telco / ISP Networking to join our Networking & Platform Automation group. This role focuses on Internet-facing, carrier-scale networking, customer connectivity, and complex multi-region routing scenarios. As part of this role, you will work closely with R&D, Network Engineering, and Customer-facing teams to design, validate, and automate large-scale networking scenarios that resemble real-world ISP and Telco environments.
