Role & seniority: Test Technician (entry to mid-level)
Stack/tools: Electronics, computer networking; test instrumentation (power supplies, scopes, DMM, DAQ); basic programming (C, Python/Phyton, Java; LabVIEW, TestStand a plus); soldering, cabling, wire harnesses; fixtures/test systems deployment
Assist test engineers in developing and debugging test systems and tooling
Prepare test documentation, procedures, and support downtime reduction; troubleshoot test equipment
Deploy test systems and train production staff; support maintenance programs for automated test equipment
Must-have skills: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology (BS preferred); 1–2 years in technical/engineering support; electronics/computer skills and basic operating systems (Windows, Linux); problem-solving and documentation skills; ability to solder and build wiring/circuit boards

The Test Technician at Crestron will assist engineers, project leaders and managers with the creation of test solutions for Crestron products. Under supervision, this position will be responsible to assist with documentation development, parts procurement, tester/fixtures fabrication and assembly, deployment, and basic training for production. This position requires electronics, computer, and mechanical aptitude. In this role it is expected that the contributor will assist engineers with building and supporting automated test stations, troubleshoot test problems, and procure instrumentation and equipment for production test systems. Help develop tools, implement designs, and integrate machinery, equipment, and computer technologies to ensure effective manufacturing processes.
