Role & seniority: Field/Technical Support Engineer (mid-level) focused on industrial automation support
Stack/tools: PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors; industrial networks (Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet/IP); installation, commissioning, configuration; technical reporting and training
Provide remote and on-site technical support for installed automation systems
Diagnose/troubleshoot failures; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; install/commission/configure systems
Guide customers on proper system usage, prepare technical reports, and conduct training; participate in on-call/shift rotation
Bachelor’s or technical degree in Mechatronics, Control & Automation, or related field
Experience in industrial automation and technical support; strong diagnostic abilities
Knowledge of control systems (PLCs, HMIs, sensors) and industrial networks; good communication; willingness to travel; valid driver’s license
PLC programming knowledge (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and broader automation system familiarity
Additional language skills beyond English; experience with PLC software/tools

You will diagnose issues, assist with installations and maintenance, and work directly with clients to guide them in using their systems effectively. It’s a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with automation technologies, and supporting customers in the field.
