Project Description

  • Our client is a large international enterprise developing and maintaining a core platform that integrates multiple application components and services.

The project focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and correct integration of server-side applications and APIs within a complex software ecosystem. Automated testing plays a key role in maintaining system stability and supporting continuous delivery.

The role involves working as part of a cross-functional team, closely collaborating with software engineers and other stakeholders to design, execute, and analyze automated tests, validate integrations, and provide actionable feedback to improve overall product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Test the integration of various application components at both API and functional levels

  • Design a robust suite of automated tests using application knowledge and risk analysis

  • Monitor, analyze, and discuss test results to ensure quality and reliability

  • Participate in sprint planning sessions and daily standups

  • Provide actionable feedback to the development team on identified issues

Mandatory Skills Description

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on testing server applications that interact via APIs

  • Solid knowledge of Python or another scripting language

  • Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and networking concepts

  • Familiarity with Azure environments and architecture is a plus

  • Capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
