What will you be doing at Atrium?
As a Salesforce QA Consultant, you are the bridge between a complex architectural vision and a seamless user experience. You aren't just "testing" at the end of a sprint; you are a Quality Advocate embedded in the entire SDLC.
Responsibilities Include
Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to derive Test Conditions from business requirements. Develop comprehensive Test Strategies and Master Test Plans that cover cross-domain Salesforce implementations.
Requirement Analysis: Perform Static Testing by reviewing User Stories and Functional Design Documents (FDD) to identify ambiguities or contradictions. Provide technical feedback on potential "edge cases" and logic gaps.
Test Design & Authoring: Design and maintain Test Cases, Test Procedures, and Test Scripts for functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Test Data Management: Identify and secure Test Data requirements. Use tools like Data Loader to manage complex data states across multiple sandboxes, ensuring high Test Coverage.
Test Execution: Perform Functional Testing across various Salesforce Clouds. Maintain precise Test Logs and objective evidence of results. Execute Regression Test Suites to ensure that new increments or "hotfixes" do not introduce Regressions in existing production functionality.
Defect Management: Manage the Defect Life Cycle using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Perform initial Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and work alongside developers to reproduce and verify fixes.
Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, and Retrospectives, advocating for "Shift-Left" testing principles.
Reporting: Communicate Test Progress Reports, Test Summary Reports, and risk assessments to project leadership.
UAT Facilitation: Support business users during User Acceptance Testing, ensuring the Validation process aligns with business operational needs. Test complex Salesforce implementations involving Flows, Apex, and LWC. Ensure the accuracy of AI-driven insights and Analytics dashboards by verifying the underlying Salesforce data layer. Perform rigorous testing on integrations between Salesforce and external data systems using APIs (REST/SOAP). Drive quality within rapid sprint cycles, managing multiple test executions and synthesising complex results into actionable reports.
Requirements For This Role
Experience: 2–3 years of dedicated QA experience, with a minimum of 1.5 years specialised in the Salesforce Ecosystem.
Salesforce Core Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Salesforce Data Model (Standard/Custom Objects, Junction Objects) and the Security Model (OWD, Role Hierarchy, Permission Sets).
Tooling: Test Management: Proficiency in Jira or Azure DevOps.
Data Management: Expert use of Salesforce Data Loader or Inspector.
Methodology: Strong grasp of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Exceptional ability to translate technical defects into business impact for stakeholders. Strong proficiency in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) or SQL to perform deep-dive data validation.
