It develops and sells a range of hardware, such as streaming players, branded smart TVs, and audio products, while also licensing its OS to other TV manufacturers. The company generates revenue through device sales, platform services, licensing, advertising, and subscriptions facilitated through its platform.

Client sells various hardware, including streaming players and sticks, that allow users to access streaming services on their TVs.

Client also sells smart TVs that come with its own operating system pre-installed, often referred to as its top streaming platform in the US and Canada;

This is the foundation of the company’s platform, powering both its own devices and TVs from other manufacturers that license the software.

A free, ad-supported streaming platform that offers a mix of on-demand and live content.

Provides digital advertising services to help businesses reach consumers on its platform.

The main work streams are software and device testing as well as developing an automation framework and tests for the advertising domain.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing;

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and documentation types (test plan, test suite, test cases, bug tracking systems);
• Ability to write and maintain test cases/test suites/checklists, documentation and troubleshoot errors;
• Good knowledge of QA methodology and tools (Jira, TestRails);
• Willingness to study new technologies;
• A self-directed professional, highly motivated, energetic, and able to easily switch between assignments. Ready to challenge and able to work independently;
• Intermediate+ English level;

Job responsibilities

collaborating with engineers, SDETS, and project on client features; developing automated tests that run on TV players and testing the functionality of various Ad products on the streaming platform; converting manual test cases into reliable, repeatable automated tests; debugging failing tests to improve product and automated test quality; writing test cases, test suites, and checklists; test environment setup and maintenance; running of existing automation and analysis of test results; implementing the new automation tests, fixing existing test scripts under supervision; reporting and verification issues;
