Role & seniority: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, mid-to-senior level (3+ years in software testing)
Operating systems: Windows, Linux, Unix
Networking basics (DNS, DHCP, basic network settings)
Virtualization (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) and databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle) – optional
Test planning, test strategy development, defect tracking
Test one or more Veeam products and participate in all life-cycle stages, including planning and strategy
Analyze requirements, design test plans/strategies, evaluate results, maintain defects database
Mentor/train new team members; support customer technical processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams
3+ years software testing experience
Strong understanding of software development principles and QA roles
Ability to develop test strategies/plans, analyze progress, and optimize testing processes
Proficiency with Windows, Linux, or Unix; basic networking knowledge
Communication and teamwork; English proficiency for international teams
Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)

About The Role
The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Warsaw R&D office.

Testing of one or several Veeam products Participating in products’ creation and development at all stages of their life cycle Analysing software requirements Participating in planning and creating the product test strategy Communicating with other participants of the product development process Training and development of new team members Evaluating test results, maintaining defects database Participating in customer technical support processes
What You'll Bring
Technical education or passion for technology 3+ years of software testing experience Deep understanding of software development principles and the QA role in this process Experience developing test strategies and plans, analysing test progress, and optimising the software testing processes Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux or Unix operating systems Experience in network technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network settings, etc.) Open and flexible mind, common sense, clear logic, analytical skills Desire and ability to work in a team English proficiency for daily communication within international teams
