Role: IT Quality Assurance Engineer (mid/senior level)

Automation: Robot Framework, Appium, Selenium; UFT, Katalon, Cypress (experience preferred)
Web/API/Mobile testing; Python or Java for scripting
CI/CD; Git (GitHub/GitLab) for version control
General QA: test automation framework design, test reporting

Define automation test strategy and methodology; gather/analyze automation requirements; review requirements/design for testability and risk
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts/suites/frameworks; oversee test execution and reporting
Log defects and coordinate with development teams; identify automation opportunities to improve quality and delivery speed; collaborate with QA/SA/Dev/IT Ops

3+ years in automation testing with Robot Framework and Appium
Experience with web, API/web services, and mobile testing; scripting in Python or Java
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git-based version control
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication; ability to work independently and in teams, under pressure

Full Description

IT Quality Assurance is responsible for quality for all applications and services, including usability, functionality, and performance of the responsible domain.

Define approach and methodology for automation test and Gather and analyze automation test requirements
Participate in the review of product requirements and architecture design, analyze the effectiveness of requirements and design, identify relevant risks, and guarantee the testability of products.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Design, develop, execute and maintenance automation test scripts/test suites or automation test framework
Master at least one of the mainstream automated test tools, such as Appium, selenium, robot framework, etc.
Generate test summary reports to project team
Log defect and coordinate with development teams for defect fixed.
Consulting to project team for identify areas where automation can improve quality and increase time to delivery
Collaborating with QA, SA, Developer and IT Operation to develop solutions.
Researching new tools and techniques to improve automation test efficiency
Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.

Bachelor/Master 's degress in computer science/computer engineer/information technology or related.
Strong knowledge of automation testing process and automation testing life cycle.
3+ years of automation testing with Robot Framework and Appium
Experience in alternative automation test tools such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Katalon, Selenium Webdriver, Cypress, etc.
Experience with automation testing of web applications, Api/web services, mobile testing.
Python/JAVA programming skills
Experience with continuous integration and continuos deployment.
Experience with version control repository such as GitHub or git lab.
Experience in banking domain is a plus

Good communication skill
Ability to work individually and also in team as and when required
Working well even under pressure
