Top 3 responsibilities

Prepare pre- and post-processing flight test data products and review real-time data.

Serve as system administration and IT build expert for testing environments.

Support data processing workflows and hardware/network configurations for flight test operations.
Must-have skills: ABET-accredited degree in computer science or engineering; 5+ years professional experience; Top Secret clearance with ability to maintain program special access; background in flight test, instrumentation, or data processing; network design/troubleshooting; Linux/Solaris administration; basic software tooling and scripting.
Nice-to-haves: Security+ certification; experience with mission control rooms or portable data trailers; post-processing tool development; data anomaly detection and data integrity troubleshooting; familiarity with IRIG 106 Chapters 9–10.

Desired Skills
ABET-accredited bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or engineering. Top Secret clearance with the ability to receive and maintain program special access. Data processing expertise in designing and configuring networks, finding anomalies, troubleshooting missing data, and resolving network system issues. Real-time background running mission control rooms or portable data trailers and post-processing experience developing software tools and producing data products are helpful. Software programming and scripting background. Hardware design and experience in communication protocols such as Ethernet, Fibre Channel, MIL-STD-1553, and IEEE-1394.
System administration abilities: server administration, Active Directory management, user account setup, database support, Linux and Solaris, backups, security audit compliance, VMWare, etc. Security+ certification. Understanding of IRIG Standard 106 Chapters 9 and 10.
