Fairview is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our team! The QA Lead is a senior member of the Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence team, responsible for overseeing testing strategies, leading QA efforts across multiple projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare applications. This role combines hands-on testing Automation expertise with leadership, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Define and implement Automation test strategies, plans, and frameworks for Epic and other healthcare applications. Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated test cases. Drive defect management processes, including triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking. Monitor and report on QA metrics, test coverage, and quality trends to stakeholders. Mentor and guide QA Analysts and Senior QA Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in testing practices.

Required Qualifications

B. S./B.A. Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 8 years Software QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • 5 years Expertise in test automation tools (UFT, Eggplant, Selenium, etc.) and integration with Epic workflows.
  • 5 years Test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM, Zephyr, Jira.
  • 2 years Lead QA teams and manage testing efforts across complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. and Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices. and Epic certification or extensive experience with Epic modules is highly desirable.
