Description
Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite System Test Engineer to an Automotive project.
The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.
At our project we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture – key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.
Requirements
We are now looking for a Test Objects Engineer. In this role, you will build, operate, maintain, and continuously improve test equipment like test cars and rigs used by our developers and testers. You will be a key link between hardware, software, and system design—making sure test objects are reliable, up to date, and representative of real vehicle behavior.

This is an office-based role located in Kraków (everyday presence required). The role may require occasional business trips abroad
Job responsibilities
Hardware Build & Operation: Build, configure, and commission test objects according to electrical and system design. Own the day-to-day operation of rigs and test cars, ensuring high availability and stable performance. Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting during ramp-up and changes.
Fault Tracing & Debugging: Investigate and fault-trace hardware issues, both independently and together with software and system engineers. Analyze failures to identify root causes in hardware, wiring, configuration, or design, and propose corrective actions.
Software & Configuration Management: Ensure test objects are running correct and up-to-date software, firmware, and configurations. Support software deployment, updates, and rollbacks, and work closely with developers to verify correct HW/SW interaction.
Design Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to design changes by feeding back learnings from equipment usage. Identify gaps between test object design and real-world behavior to help close them. Improve robustness, serviceability, and scalability of test setups.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with system engineers, software developers, test engineers, and suppliers. Support test object users by diagnosing issues, advising on correct usage, and documenting designs, configurations, and best practices
