Position Overview

This role supports enterprise testing initiatives within defined project schedules and deadlines. The candidate will work closely with the Test Center of Excellence (CoE), functional teams, technical teams, and leadership to execute a comprehensive testing strategy, including automation using Tricentis Tosca.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

Partner with Test CoE, functional and technical teams to execute testing strategies, protocols, and procedures. Support test planning efforts for projects and system changes. Participate in test strategy discussions and provide input on automation feasibility. Maintain enterprise business process hierarchy and alignment of procedures and test cases.

Test Case Design & Documentation

Design, build, and maintain formal test plans and scripts. Collaborate with QA and development teams to design test cases based on business processes and user stories. Document test outcomes, results, defects, and resolutions. Assist with root cause analysis when necessary.

Test Automation (Tricentis Tosca)

Configure and execute test automation tools leveraging the Test Automation CoE framework. Create, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca. Contribute to automation framework development and enhancement. Maintain automation libraries and utilities for scalability and maintainability.

Test Execution & Defect Management

Execute automated and manual test cases. Report defects with clear documentation. Analyze and track defects through resolution. Maintain quality test artifacts and metrics dashboards.

Test Data & Environment Management

Manage and validate test data. Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to maintain test environments.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Generate and present test reports to stakeholders. Identify process improvement opportunities. Enhance automation frameworks and testing efficiency.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

Assist in mentoring team members on Tosca best practices. Stay current with industry trends in automation testing.

Required Skills (Ranked By Importance)

5+ years progressive experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer/Analyst. Hybrid experience in manual and automation testing. Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies. Skilled in business process analysis and end-to-end documentation. Moderate knowledge of Finance, HCM, Logistics, and Treasury processes. Ability to interpret functional and technical designs to produce testing artifacts.

Preferred Skills (Ranked By Importance)

Proven experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca. Strong knowledge of Tosca Commander and Tosca TBox. Knowledge of SAP and SaaS Enterprise Systems. Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and change impact analysis. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications. Tricentis Tosca Certification (e.g., Tricentis Certified Professional - Tosca Testsuite). Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools. Proficiency in scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, Python). Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
