Overview We are looking for a meticulous Manual QA Tester / QA Analyst for a 3month contract to support manual testing across mobile applications. This role requires strong attention to detail, deep familiarity with manual testing processes, and the ability to work within Agile teams to ensure highquality releases. Candidates should have foundational frontend knowledge—specifically HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—to assist with UI validation and front-end behavior checks.
Responsibilities Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across mobile applications. Validate cross-platform behavior across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, iOS, and Android. Review requirements/user stories and translate them into test plans, test cases, and test coverage documentation. Log, track, and manage defects through JIRA, maintaining clear and organized ticket workflows. Use basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript understanding to inspect UI elements, identify layout or rendering issues, and support front-end validation. Analyze logs (console logs, crash logs, device logs) to support debugging and defect isolation. Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers during Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Provide detailed QA status updates, test summaries, and defect reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester / QA Analyst. Basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI/UX validation. Strong background in manual testing for mobile applications. Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery. JIRA (bug tracking & workflow management) Familiarity with React Native Demonstrated ability to ensure cross-platform compatibility. Excellent documentation skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications Experience running SQL queries for backend data validation (optional). Familiarity with device farms or mobile device testing environments. Experience communicating with cross-functional teams and supporting triage meetings. Exposure to automation concepts—not required for this contract.
