  1. Support New Product Development: assemble, test, and troubleshoot engineering prototype products.

  3. Adhere to production/control procedures and maintain quality standards for subassemblies.

Must-have skills

  • Associate degree (ET or related); Bachelor’s preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency with T&M equipment; strong schematic/diagram interpretation.

  • Component-level troubleshooting and repair on electronic boards.

  • Strong verbal/written communication; ability to work individually or in small teams; high attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Job Summary

The Engineering Technician performs a variety of technical support tasks involving the New Product Development, inspection, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic products and subassemblies. This role/position helps ensure products and subassemblies meet quality standards and manufacturer’s specifications.

The Electronics Repair Technician uses a variety of T&M Equipment and software applications to complete support tasks. The Board Test & Repair Technician adheres to all production control material management work procedures and policies, as defined by business Quality Management System.

About You

Assoc. Degree required (ET, other). Bachelor’s Degree viewed as differentiator. 5-7 years’ work experience with product test and electronic board component level repair of embedded electronic products. Advanced skill in setup/use of T&M equipment (DDMs, O-Scope, etc.). Advanced skill in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and engineering drawings. Advanced skill in component level troubleshooting and repair on electronic board assemblies. Strong Communication Skill (verbal/written). Work effectively (individual or small team). Advanced Problem-Solving Skills (knowledge seeker). Microsoft Office Proficiency (Office, Word, & Excel). Ability to execute work to communicated day to day priorities. Ability to execute work to expected time standards. Demonstrated ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to details. Organizational Skills
