Job Summary
Quality Engineering ensures overall product quality across delivery teams through hands-on testing, automation, and continuous improvement. The engineer will maintain unit test coverage, test automation coverage via scripts, define integration tests, identify gaps in test coverage/tools, ensure adherence to quality checkpoints, track compliance, and support monitoring of quality OKRs within ARTs. Hands-on experience with at least two automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Cypress, TestComplete, or SEAT) is mandatory. Knowledge of unit test definition (TUTs/TATs) is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, SEAT, Cypress etc. to ensure coverage related to ART deliverables. Identify the right tool for automation of scenarios and ensure efficient automation. Work on test coverage improvement projects (strategic/client) driven to contribute towards inflow reduction. Monitor quality parameters on internal defect clearance, integration of code into latest development release and process adherence to ensure quality across SDLC. Participate in regular RCA discussions and contribute towards implementation of Preventive Actions. Understand the principle of Regression and target “Do-it-first time” principle to ensure error free runs.
