Role & seniority: On-site, fixed-term contract Quality Assurance Lead/Specialist (designee for QA manager on local CCRB), with responsibilities enabling leadership in QA activities.
Stack/tools: QA/compliance workflows, validation protocols and reports (clean utilities, manufacturing processes, cleaning/ equipment, computerized systems), change controls, deviations, EMS/BMS alarms; strong MS Office (wording, presentations, databases, spreadsheets); data trending/evaluation; regulatory interaction.
Review and approve product MPs, process validation protocols/reports, EMS/BMS alarms, NC investigations and CAPA records.
Lead investigations and site audits; own site quality program procedures; release of sanitary utility systems and lots for shipment.
Represent QA on NPI team; designee for QA manager on local CCRB; review risk assessments and approve change controls.
Project management, strong organizational and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Ability to interact with regulatory agencies; effective written/oral communication; independent work ethic.
Expertise in manufacturing QA/QAL, validation, process development, deviations, and change controls; advanced data trending/evaluation.

Summary Of Role
Perform one or more of the following duties and responsibilities in support of Quality Assurance program under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Review and approve product MPs. Approve process validation protocols and reports for manufacturing processes. Request Quality on incident triage team. Approve Environmental Characterization reports. Release of sanitary utility systems. Approve planned incidents. Represent QA on NPI team. Lead investigations. Lead site audits. Own site quality program procedures. Designee for QA manager on local CCRB. Review Risk Assessments. Support Automation activities. Support facilities and environmental programs. Review and approve Work Orders. Review and approve EMS/BMS alarms. Approve NC investigations and CAPA records. Approve change controls. Provide lot disposition and authorize lots for shipment.
Shift: Administrative 8-5pm
Location: Juncos, PR
Education
Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 3 years of directly related experience or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of directly related experience or Associate's degree and 10 years of directly related experience or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of directly related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Quality and Compliance, experience with validation protocols and reports for clean utilities, manufacturing processes, cleaning processes, equipment, computerized systems, change control records, deviations, etc. Experience in biological processes desired.
