Location: Singapore/ EMEA We are looking for a visionary Director of Quality Assurance to lead, develop, and inspire our global quality team. You will own the overall quality, reliability, and stability of our product and platform - driving QA activities across the organization and ensuring exceptional standards for our software products and services. You will play a central role in shaping our quality engineering strategy, fostering a culture of excellence, and helping us deliver enterprise-grade communication solutions that bring our company’s vision to life. What you’ll do Lead and unify global QA teams across multiple sites, workstreams, and product lines, establishing a consistent and scalable quality operating model across the organization Define, own, and execute the company-wide quality strategy and roadmap, aligning quality outcomes with business priorities such as reliability, scalability, customer trust, and time-to-market Set and track meaningful quality metrics and KPIs to guide decision-making, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle Own release readiness and quality risk management by defining clear release criteria, quality gates, and go/no-go recommendations within CI/CD pipelines Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to influence direction, guide priorities, and embed quality deeply into strategic planning and execution Serve as the authority on software quality and quality engineering practices, enabling cross-functional teams to adopt industry-leading methodologies across the development lifecycle Drive the evolution of test strategy and automation across all layers, improving coverage, reliability, and delivery speed through close collaboration between QA and Engineering Improve production quality and customer experience by partnering with DevOps, Support, and Engineering to prevent incidents, accelerate detection, and reduce repeat issues Build, scale, and develop the Quality function through strategic hiring, mentorship, and performance management, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement Required Skills and Qualifications Must Have 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering and testing, including at least 3+ years in senior QA leadership roles, preferably at the Director of QA or equivalent level, leading multi-team or multi-stream quality initiatives Proven experience owning quality across the full SDLC in a B2B SaaS or product environment, balancing fast iteration with enterprise-grade expectations Deep understanding of modern and emerging test methodologies and quality engineering practices across layers (unit, API/service, integration, end-to-end), with a pragmatic approach to automation Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and automation-driven quality practices Demonstrated track record of improving release confidence, reducing production escapes, and building scalable, durable quality processes Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor QA and Quality Engineering teams across multiple locations and time zones Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer-facing teams without direct authority Solid expertise in modern software ecosystems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build and deployment processes Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, with high ownership, tolerance for ambiguity, and a bias toward action Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate quality risks, trade-offs, and recommendations. Experience driving reliability-focused practices such as observability-driven quality, incident/postmortem programs, or SLO-based thinking Experience designing, scaling, or evolving Quality Engineering or SDET capabilities as organizations grow Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
